President
Peter began his professional career with Merrill Lynch as financial advisor. There he built a foundation to launch Pennington Asset Management, a Florida based registered investment advisory firm. Additionally, Mr. Holzworth launched 3 specialized investment funds ranging from options trading strategies to debt market arbitrage. He entered the cannabis industry in 2011 through a structure finance of an emerging cannabis company. He then went on to serve as the Chief Investment Officer of BiotrackTHC. During his time with BioTrackTHC, the company was awarded the state cannabis traceability contracts of New Mexico, Illinois, Hawaii and New York. Peter currently serves as the President of the Cannabis division of Alliance Financial Network as well as operates a consulting practice at Greenspire.
Kristen Yoder

Kristen Yoder has been in the cannabis industry in Los Angeles for over a decade. She has managed successful cannabis businesses of every vertical, from one of the first dispensaries in the City of Los Angeles, one of the largest edible companies in CA, as well as highly reputable cannabis testing lab with multiple locations on the west coast. Currently, Kristen is a partner in a management consulting firm specializing in business process improvement, 280E tax analysis and entity structuring, and implementing best practices in cannabis businesses across the country. She is a Co-Host on the podcast, Cannabis Business Minds with her business partner, and serves as the Social Chair for The Cannabis LAB Los Angeles, an organization focused on providing higher education and up to date compliance workshops to Lawyers, Accountants and Business professionals in the cannabis industry.

Ian is a partner with the Los Angeles office of the national law firm Wilson Elser. As co-chair of the firm’s Cannabis Law practice, Ian leverages his 20 years of legal experience to help clients navigate the challenging new risk management, business practices and insurance landscape presented by the rapidly developing area of Cannabis Law. Ian helps traditional and new organizations prepare for regulatory changes and liability trends whether dealing with product liability risks from cannabis products, new product packaging and labeling laws, professional liability risks inherent in operating a dispensary, obstacles to protecting intellectual property, assisting startups with novel risk management methods, or insurance coverage problems created by conflicting state and federal laws.
Justin Braune

Justin is currently a President at MJIC, a leading operating company with a focus in cannabis distribution and compliance. Justin is responsible for the MJIC’s acquisition portfolio and overseeing their growth and development. Justin has served as CEO for two public on the OTC market; both focused in the legal Cannabis sector. Justin is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy having earned a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and a master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering. While serving as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy he operated nuclear reactors on the USS RONALD REAGAN until the completion of his military commitment. Justin then earned his MBA from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business. He currently resides and operates a brokerage out of Los Angeles, CA with his wife Ashley and daughter Brooklyn.
Jon Zimmerman
Director of Business Development, Cannabis Advisory Services
Jon is MGO’s Director of Business Development for the Cannabis Industry Group. Jon brings a unique operational and industry perspective to our clients based on his experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining MGO, Jon’s career spanned over 20 years of entrepreneurial ventures most recently as the head of operations for Jane Kiosk, a financial services technology company focused on the cannabis industry cash management solution. At Jane, Jon worked on bringing transparency to financial transactions within the industry. Prior to Jane, Jon’s cannabis industry experience started when he started, operated and built a dispensary in downtown Los Angeles. When in 2013, the City of Los Angeles passed Prop D, which created the Pre-ICO requirement, Jon sold his lease to an entity which was compliant with the PRE-ICO requirements.
AJ Gentile
CEO and Co-Founder of SpeedWeed
AJ Gentile is the CEO and co-founder of SpeedWeed, California’s largest marijuana delivery service. In 2011, Gentile chose to follow the “Green Rush” after seeing an opportunity in the cannabis industry for a platform that could deliver top-notch product legally, safely and discretely. Gentile utilized his vast software development experience to create a highly efficient workflow management and logistics platform.

Since then, he has guided the company to $5M+ per year with a client base of over 28,000. Prior to launching SpeedWeed, Gentile, a longtime MENSA member, sold his first software application when he was 11 years old. Throughout the 1990s, Gentile helped launch several technology startups, the largest being MacConnect, the first Internet Service Provider for Macintosh users only. When he sold his stake in the company, it was the largest and most profitable ISP of its kind in history.

Before entering the cannabis Industry, he owned and operated Government Response, Inc., a business that built software for government agencies and elected officials. GRI had clients ranging from small villages to large agencies across the United States. GRI developed applications for many elected officials including County Commissioners, Borough Presidents, large city Mayors, state legislators and several members of the United States Congress. At the time, GRI was one of only three software companies authorized to develop secure constituent management applications for the US Congress.

AJ Gentile is very engaged in the cannabis “pubco” space. He partners with and advises several publicly traded companies on compliance and product distribution.

He is an experienced television and radio host, producer and writer and has hosted national shows on MTV, VH1, and Playboy Radio. During his free time, AJ can be found with family and friends, on the softball field or in the dojo teaching self defense to adults and children.
